Thomas “Tom/Tommy” Marshall Gassman, 54, of York, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, in Henderson. He was born July 6, 1970, and adopted by Gary Gassman and Patricia Ochsner in Lincoln. Tom was united in marriage to Chastity “Chas” Jones March 13, 1999, in Thayer. Tom was currently a production worker at Corteva. He was a member of Emmanual Lutheran Church in York. He was an Oklahoma Sooner fan, loved fishing, and collecting baseball cards. He was also a Case International aficionado. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed making people smile. He is survived by his wife, Chas, of York; daughter, Joshua (Joseph) Dupre of Houston, TX; son, Jaxon (Emilee) Gassman of York; daughter, Adrianna Gassman of Lincoln; daughter, Glori Ramos of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Desi Gassman of Lincoln; son, Garrett Gassman of York; and son, Zayden Gassman of York; four grandchildren: Devynn and Sebastian Sweeney of Vancouver, WA, Kehlani Ramirez-Jauregui of Lincoln, and Jodie Dupre of Houston, TX.

He is also survived by his brother, Matt Ochsner of Bellevue; sister Angie (Brian) Zimmerman of Gretna; stepfather and stepmother, Ray and Gwen Ochsner of Sutton; and sister- in-law, Autumn Ochsner of Council Bluffs, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary, and stepmother, Sherry, and his mother, Pat.

Funeral was Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Burial followed at the Greenwood Cemetery in York.
