Clay Center resident Andrew “Andy” Kuehler, 60, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva.
Memorial services were conducted at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, at the Clay Center Christian Church in Clay Center, with Pastor Arick Johanson officiating. Inurnment followed at the Clay Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated later.

Andy was born on March 5, 1964, in Amarillo, TX, to Donald and Maureen (Dickey) Kuehler.
He attended schools in Mississippi, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. He graduated from Clay Center High School in 1982.
He started his own welding business (“Andy’s Welding”) immediately after high school. This business continued to grow and he later changed the business name to “ARTeCK Enterprises LLC.” He sold the business and retired in 2021. However, he did not stay retired for long, as he assisted various local farmers with planting, harvesting, and fieldwork. He recently started working part-time for Mid-Nebraska Land Developers in Aurora.
Andy was a member of the Clay Center Volunteer Fire Department and served as a Clay Center EMT from 1986 through 1999 and of those years, Fire Chief from 1995-99.
Andy loved his family and loved spending time in the outdoors, especially at the mountain cabin in Colorado.
He is survived by his wife, Robyn of Clay Center; sons, Chance (Katie) Kuehler, and Tanner (Jessie) Kuehler both of Clay Center; granddaughters, Melody and Raelee of Clay Center; father, Donald (Karolyn) Kuehler of Clay Center; sister, Heather Gapp of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Tim (Staci) Hajny of Lincoln; his beloved German Shepherds, Dakota and Willow; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
