Steven Kent Iverson, 61, of Hastings, died Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 22, at Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings with Derek Apfel officiating.

Steven was born on Sept. 21, 1963, in Bridgeport, to Richard and Florene Iverson. He joined the United States Air Force in 1981 and served until 1988 as a Senior Airman working as a full systems specialist. He was united in marriage to Dawn McAlevy Oct. 18, 1986, in Hastings where they built their home and raised their family. Steve was active in the community and provided for his family working in the field of agriculture. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Tosha (Shawn) Kunzman, Kyle (Brooke) Iverson, and Kimberly (Jayson) Johnson; grandchildren, Devan, Savana, Adalyn, Kamron, and Reagan; siblings, Karen Cushing, Ken Iverson, Keith Iverson, James (Leticia) Iverson, and Joan (Mike) Meese; numerous nieces and nephews.
