We remember Heather Lyn Gray whose spirit departed us unexpectedly Feb. 21, 2025.

Heather was born Jan. 25, 1990, in Albuquerque, NM, to Scot and Della Andersen. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University. She was employed at Fillmore County Hospital as the Clinical Manager and Education Coordinator. Heather had been attending Stockham Community Church. Heather was a lover of all outdoor sports, including hunting and fishing. She loved gardening, cooking, music, dancing, and above all, her children. She was a dedicated nurse, having realized her passion for helping people at an early age. She was strong-willed and determined to make her dreams a reality for herself and her family. Heather was well loved by her family, friends, coworkers, and her community. She touched lives in many different ways and will be greatly missed by all.

Heather is survived by her children: Gunner Lamar Gray (7), June Marie Gray (4), and Gauge Allen Gray (3); father Scot Andersen (Stacy); mother Della Andersen; sisters, Felicia Vallejo (Abraham), and Holly Mora (Brian); step-sisters, Mallory Rodriguez and Shannon Brown (Zachary).

Services will be conducted in New Mexico at a later date. The family asks that donations be directed to one of two accounts at any Cornerstone Bank. The “Gray Children Benefit” account and the “Heather Gray Memorial” account.
