Passing and serving, the two tangibles that head coach Adam Kuntz knew would be key for his Sutton Fillies to advance to the 2014 state volleyball tournament, proved huge Friday night. The Fillies, behind 58 digs, 32 assists, 16 blocks, 10 ace serves and 38 kills rolled to a four set, 25-8, 25-17, 21-25, 25-13 win over Central City’s Nebraska Christian High School, to advance to state. “I told the girls before we stepped onto the floor Friday night, that this is a match that I call a program builder, and that as long as we pass well and serve well, the rest of our game will come to us...and it did.”
