Jean Haseloh passed away peacefully at her home in Harvard, March 8, 2024. She was born May 5, 1942, to Leona (Drahim) and Lawrence Wahl in Holdrege.

A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m., Friday, March 15, at the Harvard United Church of Christ in Harvard. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation. Jean attended Zion Lutheran School in Hastings through the eighth grade and graduated from Hastings High in 1960. She married Fred Haseloh Feb. 14, 1963, in Hastings. She was a member of the Harvard United Church of Christ. They had three children: Dale, Janet, and Frederick Jr. (Dean) Jean enjoyed many things: baking, bowling, bingo, knitting, listening to country and polka music, putting puzzles together, and most of all making cards on the computer. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attended as many of their activities as she could. Anyone that knew her, knew that her favorite color was purple.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Fred; daughter, Janet (Dennis) Hachtel; and sons, Dale Haseloh and Frederick Jr. (Linda) Haseloh; brother Robert (June) Wahl; sister-in-law Sarah (Jim) Miller; and grandchildren, Michelle (Blake) Bunner, Dacia (Josh) Hudson, Kylie Haseloh, Autumn (Al) Short; great-grandchildren, Dylan Hudson and Norah Bunner and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law Kim Haseloh, granddaughter Jamie Walenta, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Lou and Earl Ewing and nephew Shawn Miller.

Memorials may be given to Harvard United Church of Christ.

Murray Wilson Funeral Directing is in charge of the arrangements. Call 402-469-4040 for any questions about services for Jean.
