Corman is runner-up during Pentad Quad

Sophomore Keaton Corman paced the Sandy Creek boys golf team, as the Cougars opened up their 2025 season on their home course, the Crooked Creek Country Club in Clay Center, with the annual Pentad Quad meet.

Corman fired a nine-hole 37 to hold off Sutton’s Jayden Friesen for the runner-up spot, as Friesen placed third with a 37 by way of countback scoring.

Sutton’s Harrison Herndon won the individual title with a 36 for the Mustangs.

Rounding out the field for the Cougars was Connor Rempe with a 40, Evan Swartzendruber with a 49, John Skalka with a 61, and Jaxen Heath with a 66.
