Sutton athletes compete at MIT basketball games
Sutton’s sixth-grade girls basketball team earned wins over three teams during the MIT tournament in Lincoln. Sutton won 29-9 over the Sterling Jets; 18-12 against Lincoln Tigers 6G; and 25-7 over Lincoln Bulldogs. Sutton’s fourth-grade girls basketball team placed first at the MIT tournament in Lincoln. They won 56-7 against the Lincoln Cats; 45-10 against Lincoln Wolfpack; and 20-14 against Lincoln Koalas. Sutton’s sixth-grade boys basketball team placed second at the MIT tournament in Lincoln. They won 37-33 against Wayne; earned a sudden death double overtime 42-40 win over Lincoln NE Hustle; and lost 23-49 against Lincoln HiiiPower.
