Members of the Edgar Fire and Rescue Department honored some of their own during their annual banquet March 15, at the Edgar Legion. This year’s EMT and Firefighter of the Year were Emily Batterman, left, and Austin Kinnaman. They were also presented a check for $500 from the Edgar Lions Club through a fund set up in Darrell and Dave Beck’s name. The fund was set up as an appreciation to the Becks for all their help at the Lions’ tractor pull each year.
