Harvard/Giltner wrestling honors late coach

Coaches, team members, and the Harvard community remembered the late Nate Schumm, who was killed in a train-vehicle collision in late October this year. They honored his legacy by naming the annual Harvard Invitational after him. Above: Head Wrestling Coach Terry Owens shares an emotional memory with those who attended the meet, which featured over 170 wrestlers. Below left: during Harvard/Giltner’s first match of the tournament, which featured Pedro Perez, the coach’s corner at the side of the mat remained empty, with a coach shirt honoring Schumm, the only representation of the Harvard/Giltner coaching staff.
