The 2024 Sandy Creek football team will be going for the school’s first-ever play-off state football championship on Monday, Nov. 25 against the 12-0 Stanton Mustangs inside Memorial Stadium on Tom Osborne Field, beginning at 2:45 p.m. The Cougars have dominated their way to a 12-0 record this season, outscoring their opponents by an average of nearly 50 points. Sandy Creek’s offense has put up an average of 57.6 points per game throughout the season, while holding their opponents to an average of just 8.8 points per game. In the playoffs, Sandy Creek has won their first four postseason games by an average of 55.5 points per game, an average of 64-8.5 to be exact.
