Several businesses, including local banks, in Clay Center, Harvard, Sutton, Fairfield, Glenvil, Edgar and Deweese are again sponsoring a “Giving Tree” for the residents of Clay County.
A form is available to complete for those with a gift request, that needs to be returned to the Giving Tree at 120 West Glenvil, Clay Center by Wednesday, Nov. 8.
If you or someone you know could benefit from this, please seek out a form. A form is available to print out from the Clay County News’ website (theclaycountynews. com) and Facebook page.
A separate sheet must be filled out for each person who is requesting a gift. Children and the elderly will be the priority recipients and other family member requests will be fulfilled within budgetary restrictions. Children will receive one clothing item and one toy item.
No gift card requests.
Total gift requests will be limited to a maximum of $50 for each person. Please be aware that substitutions may be made to requested items to accommodate the hundreds of requests that are received.
This year’s Giving Tree delivery date is Dec. 18.
