Tristan Speake Smith was in Clay County Court Tuesday on four counts, following an incident Sept. 18 in Harvard.
Speake Smith, along with Gerardo Garcia-Sanchez, were accused of the attempted murder of a man in Harvard.
Police were called to a house near Palm Street and 4th Avenue, where they found a man shot in the leg.
During his court hearing, Judge Michael P. Burns said Speake Smith’s four counts included attempted murder, a Class II felony; use of a firearm to commit a crime, a Class C1 felony; criminal trespass, a Class I misdemeanor; and burglary, a Class 2A felony.
Speake Smith’s next court date is set for 10:30 a.m., Nov. 5, for the status of counsel and further hearing.
