A tied 7-7 first-quarter score between Harvard and Lewiston would be short-lived as the Tigers pulled ahead with 12 points in the second quarter.
Another 14 points in the third quarter gave Lewiston a 33-7 lead, before the Tigers doubled down for 20 final points over Harvard’s six in the fourth quarter. The game ended with a 53-13 Lewiston win, dropping the Cards to 0-7 on the year.
Ethyn Whetstine-Jones’ passing game saw him complete three for 13 yards, with Kyle Knueven on the receiving end for all passes.
Rushing leaders proved to be Brexten Kobza with 10 carries for 79 yards, while Whetstine- Jones had 42 yards on 12 carries.
Overall, Harvard gained 145 yards on 32 carries.
The Cardinals had 68 tackles against Lewiston, led by Pedro Perez and Eduardo Perez with 11 each, four and five of which were solos, respectively. Whetstine- Jones and Kobza followed with eight tackles each.
