Harvard cross country wraps up season at D-4 District meet

The Harvard boys cross country team wrapped up the 2024 season on Thursday, Oct. 17 during the running of the D-4 District meet at Camp Kateri south of McCool Junction.

Senior Micaiah Niemoth led the Cardinals, placing 32nd in the field of 78 runners in the 5000 meter race, running to a time of 20 minutes, 41.09 seconds, while Anthony Hernandez-Zendejas placed 75th overall with his time of 26:32.49.

Winning the boys race was Nebraska Christian junior Jacob Swanson with a time of 16:58.73, ahead of a pair of Doniphan-Trumbull runners, Kaser Johnson and Tice Yost. Johnson ran to second place with his time of 17:01.53, while Yost placed third with a time of 17:42.64.
