Sutton resident Jeannine Adele Fehr, 82, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at Legacy Square in Henderson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Sutton, with Rev. Carl Gobelman officiating. Interment will follow at the Sutton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 1-7 p.m., with the family present from 5-7 p.m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated later. Condolences may be left at www.suttonmemorial.com Jeannine was born March 2, 1942, to John and Evelyn (Peterson) Jones in Wichita, KS. The family moved to Hastings, and she received her education in Hastings graduating from Hastings High School in 1960. After high school, she attended college briefly before marrying Henry Fehr, Jr., Aug. 21, 1966. She was employed as a secretary at Sutton Public Schools and later was a homemaker raising her three boys.
Jeannine was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Sutton. She played the piano and organ at church and taught piano lessons for many years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, birds, squirrels, and crocheting.
She had resided at Legacy Square in Henderson since 2019 and was very appreciative of the services and care that was provided by the staff.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Fehr, Jr., of Sutton; sons, Bruce (Karla) Fehr; Mark Fehr; and Paul Fehr all of Sutton; grandchildren, Tyler (Emily) Fehr of Sutton; Brady Fehr (Baleigh Oliver) of Clay Center; and Megan Fehr of Lincoln; great-granddaughter, Harper Fehr of Clay Center; brother, Jim (Nickie) Jones of Westminster, CO; sister, Jacque (Lowell) Peterson of Hesston, KS; her in-laws; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Jones.
