Vote to keep townships

Yes, our power is limited, but it does keep some of your taxes in your township instead of going to the far opposite side of the county.
Vote to keep townships

Yes, our power is limited, but it does keep some of your taxes in your township instead of going to the far opposite side of the county.

All township board members receive no salary, insurance benefits or retirement. Not all townships have CDs or savings, but Fairfield Township does. This means money for washed out culverts or crushed concrete to quickly rebuild a road in our township.

If our townships are dissolved, the money created for that township—from that township—will be lost and used without any of our say. We, the people, again lose a voice in our local government.

Vote to keep as many taxes local as you can; vote to keep your township boards. Jason Gerdes, Fairfield Township Member
