Nate Brown, Harvard City Council’s President, was voted in as the new mayor, following the resignation of Keith Ljunggren.
Following Brown’s reading of the Mayor’s Oath, nominations were taken for the next council president.
Misty Pair and Sharon Ryan were nominated for the position, causing a tie as one council member was absent.
Brown broke the tie, deciding Ryan was the new council president.
OTHER BUSINESS
Ljunggren proposed a street bond project to pave three blocks of Clay Street, two blocks of Maple Street, two blocks of 9th Street, and two blocks of 10th Street.
The proposal was unanimously voted for by council members.
