The importance of voting

I am concerned for our country and the upcoming election. Every vote matters, which means every Christian vote matters!!

I am concerned for our country and the upcoming election. Every vote matters, which means every Christian vote matters!!

In 2020, 155 MILLION votes were cast in the presidential election, and the contest was decided by 44,000 votes across three states. According to surveys, millions of Christians across the country aren’t even registered to vote! Are you registered???

Christians should care about government because God was the one who ordained it (Romans 13:1-7) and because we are called to love our neighbor (Mark 12:31) and seek the good of the place in which we reside (Jer. 29:7). In a country like the United States—in which government is shaped by the people—praying for our nation, voting for righteous leaders, and standing for biblical public policies is a very practical way of seeking to love our neighbor.

Our country, the United States of America, is in need of moral and spiritual repair. I firmly believe in the truth of Scripture and trust God when He promises, “If my people who are called by name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). So please pledge today to PRAY, VOTE, AND STAND for our country.
