After years of planning and going through options, Clay Center has a new sign to welcome visitors coming into town from the north on Highway 14.
Thanks to many local donors, the Clay Center Innovation Partners were able to raise enough money to purchase the new sign in May.
The group worked with Tri City Sign in Grand Island on design options and costs.
The new sign was installed on the base of the former one, at the corner of Highway 6 and 14. It currently needs electricity so it can be seen at night, but otherwise is complete.
