The 19th annual Harvard Veterans Memorial Car Show has been set for Saturday, July 27, with several other activities planned for the day.
The car show registration is from 10 a.m.-noon, with the show itself, hosted by the Clay County Kruzerz, running from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; trophies will be presented at 3 p.m.
Prize drawings will be done throughout the car show. All proceeds will go to the Harvard Veterans Memorial Wall.
Other activities going on that day include the USS 5K/ One Mile Run/Walk, at 8 a.m., at the city park.
The parade will start at 10 a.m. (weather permitting), at the school parking lot, and then travel south down Airport Road, before turning onto Walnut Street.
From there, the parade will go to Kearney Avenue, then turn north and go until 7th Street, before turning east past the Harvard Rest Haven and ending back at the school.
Attendees and citizens are reminded to remove their vehicles from the parade route before it starts. For any questions, contact Kenny at 402-772-2781.
The 16th annual horseshoe tournament will begin at 11 a.m., east of the car show. Sign-up is from 10-11 a.m. The cost is $10 per person, and there is a top-four payout.
Kids activities will also start at 11 a.m., in the city park, with free swimming to be open from noon-5 p.m.
Mike’s Music will be playing throughout the day in the park, and Honk n’ Haw BBQ will be open in the park from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
