In a strong display of dominance, the Sutton Legion Juniors Baseball team secured a decisive victory over the Fairbury Landsharks in a recent match-up July 5.

Sutton scored an impressive 15 runs, while their opponents failed to score a single run.

Sutton gained three runs in the opening inning, and then burst the floodgates open with 11 runs in the second.

Their final score came in the third inning, while Fairbury was kept at bay from home plate.

Two standouts from Friday’s game were Wyatt Pollet and Kaleb Ostrander, who led the Juniors in runs with three each.

Three Juniors had two runs in the win, including Caleb Reiners, Weston Ohrt, and Payton Reed.

Ohrt was on the pitcher’s mound for the entirety of the game, allowing one hit, two walks, and struck out eight.
