Sutton resident Elmer Dale Robinson Jr., 68, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Henderson Care Center in Henderson, NE. Funeral services will be 100 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Federated Church in Sutton, NE, with Rev. Harry Cross officiating. Interment will follow at the Sutton Cemetery in Sutton, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 3-8 p.m., with the family present from 6-8 p.m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, NE. Dale was born November 17, 1946, in Hastings, NE to Elmer Sr. and Alta (Willcock) Robinson. He received his education in Sutton and graduated from Sutton High School in 1966. He furthered his education at Central Community College in Hastings, NE, and graduated with a degree in Metal Technology in 1968.

Hastings resident, Marlene J. Shockey, 70, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, NE. Services will be Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 2 p.m., at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Harvard Cemetery, Harvard. Memorials may be given to the Salvation Army. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at 3–8 p.m., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Marlene was born September 5, 1944, in Beatrice, NE, to Joseph and Gretchen (Morgan) Campbell. She graduated from Beatrice High School. Marlene worked as a certified nursing assistant and head of the laundry department at Harvard Nursing Home. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents.

Former Grafton, NE, resident Patrick  ames Keenan, 51, passed away Tuesday,  Feb. 24, 2015, at his home in Sutton,  NE.Funeral services  were 11 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2015, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sutton, NE, with Rev. Judy Nuss officiating. Cremation followed the service. Visitation was Sunday,  from 1-8 p.m., with thefamily present from 5-7 p.m., at  Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton,NE.  Memorial contributions may bedirected to the Sutton American  Legion Argonne Post #61 or the Baroda American Legion Post #345, P.O. He received his education at Grafton  Public Schools and graduatedfrom Sutton High School in 1981.  He married Deborah Gaul ofBaroda, MI, in Las Vegas, NV, and to this union two daughters were born, Katy and Danielle.

Mona Andersen, age 62, passed away at her home in Jamestown, KS, on Sunday, March 1, 2015, peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 9, 1952, in Concordia, KS, to Leonard and Kathryn (Kempkes) Swiercinsky. Mona graduated from Belleville  High School and later Cloud County Community College.She worked for the phone company after college and later was an office administrator for the school system and worked with her husband, Eric, at Waddell & Reed, Concordia. She married C. Eric Andersen on Feb. 7, 1976, in Belleville, KS. She wasa member of the First United  Methodist Church, Concordia,and served on the Jamestown Library Board. She was active in her children’s lives and their activities in high school. She especially enjoyed camping, gardening and traveling to visit her children.
